Thanks for your reply Ian.

If you keep up with the roadmap I am happy to continue writing and developing with Gutenberg. For me the most important part of the roadmap is responsive images, means fixing frontend-performance issues.

Replaced target:”_blank” and target=”_blank in edit.js, index.php and blocks.build.js as a quick fix. That works for me until the next update. Best idea: ad an option to select the link type.
