  • I have solved this issue at last. I simply removed “1” within php tag and it simply vanished. In case anyone wants to know.

I’m using this script by 2fargon for my archives dropdown menu. The only problem I came up with is that there’s this annoying “1” in front of each month in the drop menu. How do I remove that? Thanks.

I got LivePress working, including synching.

Neil: what reference path did you use in LivePress.php? The old reference path doesn’t work.

Thanks Kyle for that info. How do you configure it to post to LJ and GJ? I have journals on both LJ and GJ. Is it possible at this time?

    MtDewVirus,
I see. That’s probably it. I was pointing to archives.php, not to an index.php. link
I guess I have to wait for the upgrade to 1.3 to achieve this, so the way it is for now is fine unless there’s a quick fix. Thanks again.

    Mtdewvirus,
I know this came pretty late but I’ve spruced up the archives hack and it seemed to work, but for some reason the mod_rewrite (or something else) only shows all of the posts in that date or category at once. It does show category and date on main page but whenever I click on either one, it jumps straight to display all posts. How do I adjust it so it wouldn’t do that? Like after clicking on either category or date, it’d show up a list of all posts and then you have an option to click on one of the posts you want to read. I was using the proffered mod_rewrite for the .htaccess file, but if I used your mod_rewrite it wouldn’t work because it would go to a list of posts but if I try to click on any one of those, it’d not display the post itself. Is there a fix for this? Thanks for your time and I really like your hack, I wish it’d work properly like yours!

    Kafka,
I wanted to personally thank you! I did what you suggested and deleted the specific cookies and then the edit post tag showed up at last. Cookies are so pesky and picky, and I see that they can cause problems for many.

I have finally figured it out. Just letting everyone know that 1.2.1 works just fine now. I’m happy!

Please help. I can’t login to my blog. Why is my changed password not working with new version of 1.2.1? What else can I do? Lost password only sent me a string of characters, what do I do with these? I tried to change via phpmyadmin but it doesn’t work with md5 hash calculator. It kept saying “incorrect password” even though I know the password is correct and case sensitive.

I thought I’d post under this thread. I just upgraded to 1.2.1 and then for some reason I’m unable to login to my WP after changing password. Then I tried to relogin. It didn’t let me in even when I remembered and typed the changed password exactly. I even tried to use MD5 hash calculator, it doesn’t work either. Is there another way to access my blog? 🙁 Why is 1.2.1 causing me problem when it shouldn’t? Thanks in advance.

On a Mac: would that be Bedit in place of Crimson? Can anyone suggest a text editor that does what Crimson do to show any white spaces? Thanks.

Is this what I’m supposed to modify in wp-mail.php? I’m not clear on this. What am I supposed to modify exactly? I still have trouble with this. I upgraded to 1.02 and still experience same thing.

I wanted to say I d/l’ed version 1.0.5.2 and works well! I upgraded to WP 1.0.2. I’m grateful for this. I’m glad there’s a developer who thinks of people who are on both 10.2 and 10.3. Keep it up.
