Thanks for your help Bojan!
I have tried the css modification and it fixes the sidebar but leaves a blank space on top when scrolling down. Can I add anything to the CSS to have the sidebar scrolling up to the top menu and then being fixed when reaching the menu?

That works fine but I am wondering how can I add the * to show that field is mandatory?
