The information on override files on your website is very good. I will try my theme developer, but not with a great deal of hope (you never know, I suppose!).

Also, I think that the problem possibly pre-dated the WC update (I am not sure, though), as I have been seeing entries highlighted in red for some time.
I will update WC later today, and will come back to update you.
