    one last thing i need to figure out- how do i filter the results to only include items from category “projects”. is it possible to add this filter on top of the others? couldn’t figure out how to add it.

    Dear David, thank you so much for your help and efforts . i was speechless when i read your detailed answer.
    To be honest i am not a code savvy person and could not follow most of the explanation but i did install the development MLA plugin and the example plugin as instructed, and simply pasted the shortcode above on my demo web site and it worked perfectly when choosing the room and then adding the lighting type:

    If i only choose lighting type it does not work for some reason. can this be fixed? if not that’s ok, i will just need the lighting type to be the compulsory one instead of the room term.

    May I kindly ask for your advice in some final tweaking if it’s not too much to ask after all you have done already:
    1. how do i add a gap between every two images? i tried itemwidth=’40%’ and margin=’10%’ but it didn’t work. i think i am inserting them in the wrong place (couldn’t figure out why there are 2 [mla gallery] sections). can you please provide me with a snippet showing where it goes?
    2. How can i add the att.category to each item ? either as a hover, or under the image or anywhere else (i need to give credit to the designer). again not sure what code the use and where to add it.
    3. how can i control the inner padding of the terms table? it needs some tweaking on mobile view.

    Dear David,
    Thanks so much for your answer. I have decided to keep the taxonomies as tags and proceed with the manual “include” option as new tags are not likely to be added. I made myself a list of tags values by subject:
    room: 41,42,43,44,45,46,47,48,49,50,51,52,121,122
    lighting type: 32, 33,34,35,36,37,38,39,40,53,70
    (decided to drop the designer name for now. will turn it into a category later).

    The condition i would like to have is “AND” for any combination of these tags.

    how do i go about creating a check list for each bucket?
    how do i pull the choices ticked by the viewer into a gallery that display the relevant images?
    (before writing to you, i tried copying the example in the documentation under “MLA Term List Examples” for categories which i also have, but it does not pull the search result into the gallery – every time i hit search it refreshes the screen an that’s it)
