I am going to answer my own query since I managed to figure it out 🙂
Do not know if it is the most effective solution but here goes. This is to force download a track when website visitor clicks Download button:
– Upload a .mp3, .ogg and .zip version of each track
– Create a playlist
– Make sure to write Download in Button Text 1 box and click the On Button next to the box.
– Add Song
– Choose correct playlist if you have several playlists in the drop down menu( missed this a few times)
– Add the MP3 Link and Ogg Link in the boxes. You will find them in the Media Library. Cut and paste the File-URL link.
– Add Track title
– Add the ZIP Link the Button 1 box. You will find it in the Media Library. Cut and paste the File-URL link.
– Add any other info you want to add.
– Add New Song
Same thing happened for me. Tried ryanandrewsimmons fix and it worked!
