I’m having the same problem. I have tried adding the code with the value of 5. Still can’t save anything after editing. I then tried a value of 1 – no difference. Not sure if there’s been an update of woo recently that has caused this.

Just a quick update. They were worried that the value you suggested could have a negative impact on the server.
I was told to change the values via cPanel / multiphp ini editor. I doubled the value for max_input_vars from 1000 to 2000 and have experimented with the MetaSlider slideshows. All seems to be working really well now. I will do some work on them tomorrow and see how it goes.

Fixed by removing some columns via Screen Options.
Sometimes you only need some columns intermittently, so you can always turn them on when needed. By doing that the EAN was displayed in one line.

Cherriet, I used FTP via the program Filezilla and using navigating through the directory structure you mentioned (wp-content\plugins\woocommerce\includes\gateways\paypal\includes\class-wc-gateway-paypal-request.php?) I then edited the file as suggested above in the program Notepad++
