This was an extremely helpful answer – thankyou so much! I had to install Jetpack to get the Portfolio thing, and I didn’t realise the portfolio elements were called Projects, which was what was confusing me.

I wanted to have these links all on my initial landing page like the demo – if anyone else is having problems, I found that I had two menus clashing.
