thanks for the answer. Yes, I meant the NewsTicker. I tried Appearance > Customize > Theme Settings > Header Settings, but since the last update, the Theme Settings is nowhere to be found.

You are right, CDN is not the cause of the missing post. Its cache control setting that causing the problem.
I changed it to no cache and now it’s all good.

In reply to: [Shift8 CDN] Speed not increasingOh I forgot to mention. When I setup SHift8 CDN, I made mistake by input my site with backslash in the pullzone.
When I found in one of the post that the backslash will result error when checking the CDN, I delete my site in the pull zone without disable Shift8 CDN, and I add new site, then enter the API key and prefix.
Did I made mistake by doing that ?
PS: I just run pingdom again. the load time seems to decrease

Lets focus on a Pingdom test first. Can you clarify which geographic region you selected for the test? And also can you provide insight as to what the load times when the CDN is disabled? Perhaps you can share the pingdom results link when you test with it disabled so I can use it as a reference?
I use they default region, but when I run the test, I notice that the server change to asian region.
How do I disable CDN? when I go to CDN Setting and turn off Enable Shift8 CDN and run the test, pingdom say that I still use the CDN.
Also curious about this plugin you have listed : Prevent Browser Caching (2.3.2)
If not used properly, it is not ideal to have this type of plugin on a live production website. I would recommend deactivating and uninstalling this plugin as even without the CDN your site will run much slower because you are no longer leveraging browser caching at all, putting 100% of the onus of the site’s static files on your webserver only.
Recently I have trouble to update my website, that’s why I try to user that plugin, but It seems no effect. I will deactivating and uninstalling the plugin then, and I will try the test again.
