Thank you for reporting this issue and for your patience.
You are correct — in earlier versions there was a problem where:
- There was no reliable way to exclude individual pages or posts
- The List of Contents could still appear on the homepage, we can handle it from list of contents settings
Fix available
We’ve addressed this in the latest plugin update 1.1.0.
The update includes:
- A new “Exclude Posts / Pages” option that allows you to select specific content where the Table of Contents should not be displayed (searchable and grouped for Posts and Pages)
- Correct handling to prevent TOC from appearing on the homepage unintentionally
No action is required beyond updating — existing settings remain intact and backward compatibility is maintained.
Next steps:
Please update to the latest version and review the new exclusion option under the plugin settings. This should fully resolve the behavior you described.
