I guess I will ask my host. This is not something I’m all that familiar with. For 15 years I’ve run my own servers (literally, either collocated or in my office with a T3) and run my own web apps written by myself or my team. The point of moving to a hosted server with WordPress was to get away from that to concentrate on business, not dealing with hosting.
