I have the same issue. With no plug-ins activated, Site Health reports that there is a critical issue: a plugin has prevented updates turning off wp_version_check().
Is there anyone that can give a clear and possibly easy solution to this issue?

I’ve added some xml to the wpml-config.xml file inside theme root folder:<custom-fields> <custom-field action="translate">client_name</custom-field> <custom-field action="translate">client_services</custom-field> <custom-field action="translate">client_more</custom-field> <custom-field action="translate">client_custom_values</custom-field> </custom-fields>Now custom metaboxes store different values for each language.

I still have this problem and I cannot get rid of it:
Custom fields created inside Portfolio entry cannot be translated. They actually are metaboxes and, due to this, their content it’s not translated.

I’ve created my own custom Field Group in ACF but I cannot understand what values I have to insert instead of ‘Your String’ value you have suggested. The ACF group has a key (ie. group_5f4625bf923c8) and each custom field has a name that can be customized. What value do I have to insert?

The options is not available for free users.
Buying the Pro version will resolves this issues for sure? The free version works fine except for this. I’m thinking of buying it.
