In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] No cookies (“fingerprints”) starting from 5.4.0?I installed 5.4.7.
In the overview, pageviews once set to “Daily” is now no-volatile. So that is fine now.
Still no fingerprints, though. Both “GDPR Compliance Mode” and “Anonymize IP Addresses” are set to Off.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] No cookies (“fingerprints”) starting from 5.4.0?Also, one more remark / question, regarding the latest changes.
In the “Overview”, before version 5.4.x, the default view showed 28 days, and each day during this time. Now it does not show days but weeks. Does anyone need the graph showing 4 data points? How do we turn this overview back into a daily overview, by default?

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] No cookies (“fingerprints”) starting from 5.4.0?I have updated to 5.4.6.
The access log no longer shows the page “(domain)/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php”.
But there is still no visitor tracking by cookies.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] No cookies (“fingerprints”) starting from 5.4.0?And this might be a different topic, but another issue I have with the latest update (5.4.5) is that some pages are being logged as (domain)/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php, which no one is likely to visit.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Discrepancy in displays@acekin, I forgot the DST in the USA was on Nov 03. Here in Europe, it was Oct 27.
So DST probably was not handled properly by the plugin, as @kristiandeimel already guessed.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Discrepancy in displays@acekin, it looks like your stat has a dip on Nov 03. I would guess that you will get a proper overview for 4 weeks sometime in December, assuming no new dip appears by then.
This really looks like a bug to me, and it might affect different sites on a different day (?).

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Discrepancy in displaysAs we suspected, the October 27 (I made a mistake in the post above, it should have read October, not August) and its dip have been removed from the “Last 4 weeks” Overview, and today’s stat in this view now appears fine.
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Discrepancy in displaysThat is exactly how it looks from my end. There was a one day “hole”, and then all the consecutive days were shifted for one day. So, today’s stats actually shows yesterday’s data. That is what I see when time range is default “Last 4 Weeks”.
However, when I set the time range to “Today” or “Last 7 days”, the data is correct.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Discrepancy in displaysI am not sure if this is the same issue, but my overview for the previous month shows a dip (zero visits, surely not correct) on 27 August. And since then, the days in statistics got messed up.

In reply to: [Asgaros Forum] Replying with the quote does not workThanks for your help, Dominik.
I don’t know how and why this happened, but it seems like my problem disappeared. So it might be the conflict with some plugin, which got updated in the meantime. I have no better explanation.
Anyhow, apologies for obviously alarming redundantly.
I will keep an eye on this, and get back if such a problem occurs again.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Excessive admin-ajax.php loading timeI can also confirm this problem remained more or less the same. In the meantime, I moved to a better-performing server, but still, out of the typical two seconds page loading time, 0.5 seconds is associated with this plugin.
And it is a pity, this is generally a great plugin.
Yes, forcing / updating the user’s permissions this way worked.
Thanks!

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Excessive admin-ajax.php loading timeHello Mostafa, and thanks for your reply.
I am not sure if it stops the main thread.

This was however the case with the cache plugin active, and timing might look different if it had to be generated in real time.
Anyhow, it would be best if the statistics do not put much load on the server anyhow.

In reply to: [Asgaros Forum] Does this plugin definitely die away?Great news, indeed. Thanks.
