This is the exact same problem I’ve been having. The search does work when I test it on my local environment. Production is pretty much the same as my local (same plugins, same Ultimate WP Query Search Filter settings). Any movement on a fix for this? I’m running WordPress 4.8.

Yes, thank you. Updating the plugin to 2.0.1 seems to have solved the issue. I will monitor this on my end and will reopen if I notice the text disappears again.
