Just a quick reply. Thanks for your suggestions, I understand, although unfortunately I didn’t see your message until I installed another sidebar plugin, worked out how to use it and made a good attempt at getting my sidebars back. Then I activated QSM again for the evening and now I can’t even login to WordPress 🙁

Not saying it’s your fault, but I’m just going to leave it until tomorrow now. I’ll contact the host, get into WP and give what you mentioned a try, then let you know.

Thanks again for your responses. It really helps to know I’m not crazy 😉

First of all, thank you very much for your detailed and reassuring reply.

I have been using QSM for some time and have never had any problems with it until now.

Let me explain the context, then I’ll answer your questions.

As far as I was concerned, everything was going well, then a few weeks ago, the backend started to get slower and slower, often timing out.

Something like this had happened a few years ago and the guy at Bluehost help said that it was probably plugin conflicts.

So, I got into the plugins by Bluehost and went through them one by one. The main issue at the time (a few days ago) seemed to be Custom Sidebars which also needs Classic Widgets.

However, I went through the plugins again, and the backend load time was much much longer when QSM was activated. Also, I found out that when SUBMIT is clicked, it is much slower than it used to be to get to the results page.

I hope that is clear, if not, just tell me what you need.
