Never mind.
The problem was that I had the “Disable the visual editor when writing” option enabled in the user profile settings.
Works as intended.

In reply to: [XML Sitemap & Google News] Robots.txtYes, thank you for for the info. Your comment actually made me do some research about the effectiveness of a robots file and I came across this interesting article (sorry- it comes from one of your competitors, which I can assure you that I’m not using at all):

In reply to: [SEOPress - AI SEO Plugin & On-site SEO] XML Sitemap Shows Excluded Pages*Fixed*
For some reason, Titles & Metas -> Single Post Types -> Pages -> (noindex) was checked on by mistake.
Once I removed the checkmark, I was able to remove pages from the XML sitemap, both individually and en masse.

In reply to: [Testimonial Basics] Custom Field LengthSo I went into the database and changed char(100) to vchar(255):
tb_custom1 varchar(255)
tb_custom2 varchar(255)However, when I enter/paste the long string in the field in the testimonial editing window, it still gets trimmed! If I enter the long string directly into the database, the string stays whole.
So evidently the limitation is in the UI.
Yep. The update works as expected.
Thank you!
Hi LesTexas60,
Basically, the Swell-lite theme has a very well designed layout that is elegant and just good looking. The free ‘lite’ version comes with a basic page layout customizer that allows you to place widgets in various areas. These may include html boxes, content sliders, product features, and the such. Its customization features are a step up from most of the basic themes out there. The pro version contains even more features.
With that said, I think Elementor does have bigger and better facilities to manipulate the layout and add content features, which provides greater flexibility than Swell-lite. Case in point, the free version of Elementor allows me to create columns on a page and put any type of content within. I can break up the body and footer any way I want. Swell-lite is a bit more limited in this regard.
I’m working on a site based on the Swell-lite theme right now and would love to use Elementor for several things. Thankfully, while they don’t see eye-to-eye, as it were, they do work together without conflicts. I can work with different pages using their respective templates and everything seems to hold well.
It would be super awesome if I could get Elementor to work with the Swell-lite template.
Wow, excellent! Thank you for your quick response.
As a feature request, it would be nice if this was the default behavior, where an automatically-made page (with its corresponding gallery shortcut) would be the default target for albums.
Thanks again.

In reply to: [XML Sitemap Generator for Google] Duplicate EntriesHi,
Yes, the last release fixed the problem. Thanks!
Just my 2 cents:
The ability to customize sitemap inclusion and prioritization is essential. It is too bad that this has been removed.
