In reply to: [Helpie FAQ — Accordion, Docs & Knowledge Base] Groups – how they workHi @pauple123
First let me say that I tested a dozen similar plugins before choosing Helpie FAQ. I adopted it because it seemed to be the most configurable and flexible, with a richer set of presentation and style options. Really nice plugin.
However, I think that the grouping feature deserves serious review by the developers.
One gets the impression that it’s a possibility inserted at a later stage of the plugin’s development, that integrates poorly with what was there before.
Take, for example, the shortcut editor: it is a very convenient feature,a plus. But in the parameter selection menu, the possibility of filtering the FAQs by group doesn’t even appear. We have to guess that group_id=’xx’ can be manually mixed with the other shortcode parameters. Creating FAQs in a group through an interface (editor) different from the normal post editor is another negative point. And finally, not having the possibility to move FAQs between groups, and to create new groups and redistribute the FAQs within the new groups, for me makes the use of groups totally unfeasible!
Best regards,

I believe the answer is not so simple. My server has the correct time and the correct time zone. Even WordPress reports via the_time () function at local time correctly. So, why does not Form Maker do it the same way?
