Thanks, Ben. After taking a break from all of it, I’ve resized the photos and everything seems to work fine.

One more question for now though. I was trying to share my website on Facebook, but I couldn’t get any thumbnail photo to appear, which doesn’t attract a lot of attention really. If I post individual posts, it works, but for the website as a whole. You can see it here: http://www.alecspopescu.com

What can be done about this?

Many thanks again for all your help:)

    Hi, Ben,

    Another thing,

I’ve tried to use compressor.io and I don’t know how well it works. I’ve tried it on a 1,83 MB image and it only reduced it to 1,63 MB. Should I resize it in another program, I’m a bit lost right now?

There’s no error message. I had already resized them (they are high resolution images), but I guess they were still too big for the page, so once they were too many, they just stopped loading. I will resize the original images once again, but I have some that are almost 40 MB. is the compressor good enough so that I don’t lose quality of the photos? And what size should they actually be (I need both feature photos and in the body text, so I’m not sure if they should differ)in kb?

Thanks! and another thanks for answering so quickly.

Thanks, Ben for that, it worked.

I just went on my website today, I was planning to launch it tomorrow but it seems none of the photos I posted upload. What is the size (in kB) that a photo should have? I might have to reconvert all the photos, though I’ve done that once and they all seemed to work in the last three days.
    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Alex

    Thanks, Ben, that worked.

Another thing. I’ve posted several articles but when I check the homepage, there’s the title, then the subtitle and the start of the first paragraph appearing there (which I really don’t want to be there). How do I control what appears on the frontpage below the title for each post?

    Thanks,
