the problem is in the database, I rolled back the local copy of the database to 5.9.0 and everything started working, but I can’t roll back to the live server because sales and customer data will be lost

no there is no shortcode there these are standard woocommerce templates
and shouldn’t this work on the default theme from the WordPress developers???

As far as your plugin puts the status, it expects only after clicking on the send button

Regarding the slow operation, sorry, load your site into 1000 users and you will see how your plugin just kills the database!
