I was able to remove the link or dead tag.
Under Widgets
Footer Column 1
Add Widget -> as an example I added “Text”
Once this was added the MapsMaker showed up under Footer Column 1 and I was able to “Remove” it. and Save it.
All good now, Hope this helps someone.
