Hallelujah – thank you Mike for all of your help. I finally have this form working correctly. Thank you for your patience and step-by-step instructions. Finally we’re good to go.

Ahhhh…interesting. Yes, I had the Plugin Google Docs Embedder installed. It is now deleted.

If I click “view,” I get an “Oops! That page can’t be found.” Message

If I insert short code into my page, the form appears…sort-of. All of the questions are there, but none of the toggle buttons appear and there is no active Submit button.

    Hi Mike –
thank you for the thorough reply…

    1. Thank you, I would never have found the “enable form submission” but it is now checked.
    2. Good.
    3.Good.

When I mentioned the plugin button, I meant, when I am creating a page/post and I want to insert the form, there is a button for “Google Docs Embedder” in the bar above the text box and the “insert” button is not active – but that’s neither here nor there. I’d prefer to simply create a link and have the form open in a new window. Which I have now done.

So, here’s an interesting bit of information… If I log into my Google account > Google Forms > Responses: I see all of the test responses I’ve been filling out. However, I have never received an email indicating that this form has been filled out and I am still not seeing the Form Submission Log populate with these responses. So, the google form itself is working, but the plugin integration is not, for whatever reason.

    Thank you, Ali

I deleted the form and created a new one…thought I’d start from scratch. But now I can not add a link to the google doc using the plugin buttons. Could this be because I am running WordPress 4.8?

Used Firefox and Chrome error console: There is no indication that there is a javascript error that I can see,

But it does appear as if the submission process isn’t being completed.

Where do I find “Logging enabled”?

I have not verified that I do not have any Javascript errors on my page when you load the form…how do I check this?

And if I go to the Form Submission Log – there are no submissions on file.

There is another email address on the site for general information and yes, that receives email. I have checked my spam folder and there are no emails there.
