i typed local host and i get a blank page. type local host where? i need a little more detail. typing localhost brings me nothing because my computer is not setup to use localhost to resolve anything. my computer is setup to to resolve exactly what i posted earlier. i don’t quite understand what you’re asking me to do.
why do you keep telling me to type localhost? that is not helping what so ever.

I’m already trying to view my local host. Whenever I put in the URL to my local install “http://localhost:8888/wp2/”
I receive a redirect to the login page:
http://localhost:8888/wp2/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Flocalhost%3A8888%2Fwp2%2Fwp-admin%2F
Why does it force the redirect and make me log in?
