This worked perfectly. Thanks so much for your help today. I will definitely be reaching out to you in the future for stylistic questions. In the meantime, I’ll work on setting up a child theme.. although I’m nervous I’ll somehow mess up. Is it easy to transfer the changes i’ve already made to the site to the child theme? I’m worried they’ll somehow get lost.

How do i set it up to do that? If i just changed everything from the custom links, wouldn’t it just revert back to not working properly if i change it back?

That did it!
I went in and changed my permalink settings back to default and now the post is showing up just fine.

Hi James. thanks for getting back to me.
This error started today when i created the blog page and posted to it for the first time. I have installed two plugins, but i uninstalled them and it still didn’t work. I have added a bit of custom css to the site to change a few visual things (colors, etc) but i don’t imagine that would affect this.
HOWEVER… i did mess around with custom naming all the permalinks for appearances.. would that affect it?
