I am hoping to use this excellent plugin to display an index of documentation posts and would like to display them alphabetically (by chapter number).

You know best what your users are asking for, and I entirely agree you should keep it simple.
I also agree that #2 is the least obviously useful feature.
We use Google Calendar a lot, and we like pretty bars showing us who is working when, etc. So I thought something similar to allocate tables would be nice.
Well, it takes a long time to get all the requested features into a free plugin, and I can certainly live with it for a while, especially if you are planning to add such features.
I won’t ask you to say when you are hoping to do it!
Other useful features, for me at least, would be:
1. Assign table numbers to bookings (and edit same)
2. Display bookings in Google calendar (possibly one calendar per table)
3. Automatic reminder email or text a specified amount of time before the booking.Just my wishlist!

I was quite wrong about not being able to close bookings – this is possible, but I was trying to do it in the wrong place.
I would still like to know if there is a way of modifying bookings (and sending another confirmation email).
