You’re absolutely right, thank you for the detailed analysis.
It was indeed a refactoring omission, and that specific function was still relying on an undefined $table_name, which caused the database error.
I’ve just released version 1.1.2 to address this issue as a critical fix.

I’ve just released version 1.1.1, which now includes all the fixes that were previously only available in trunk.
You should be able to update the plugin and get the corrected version right away.
