My page got indexed through sitemap, but then I remove those pages from sitemap because I don’t want them to be indexed. But google still got them indexed so I have to add “nofollow” to the URLs I don’t want to be indexed. Not sure if it is same issue with you..
Thanks, we found out that this was not a problem with yoast plugin. There are indexed pages that should not be indexed so I have to update robots.txt. Could help you
