Many thanks for the reply, and yes you would be correct in saying it looks like a repeat because the description of that event happens to repeat the title of the event. The other event you mentioned, is not repeated because we started amending text to make it look correct.
To use the filter you have provided, where would i insert this code?

If you click on the event on the 5th Feb for example, once the next page loads up, I don’t want the yellow box with title showing, as it looks like a repeat when the “SOUTH REGION LUNCH” is already mentioned below.

Many thanks for the quick turn around on that, I also see you fixed the case sensitive issue, this is a great help! Late last night, I discovered while trying to figure out what was causing this issue, if I deactivated Yoast SEO plugin i have running, your plugin worked 100%. Hope this information is of some help to you as well.

Just to let you know, I got the plugin activated by going to the list if plugins installed on the WP site and activating it via there.
My next problem is when I insert the shortcode anywhere, I am getting “Updating Failed” when updating the page. This is on blank page with nothing else present.
