This has been resolved now and a fix for it is included in the next version of the plugin.

Thank you for reaching out. We have checked this but it seems like the translation filter is not available with the Free version of Polylang and we can not replicate the issue on our end. However, you’re using the Pro version so it might be better if we test this on your website.
Could you please send us an email at our Support Center and share your website’s login information?

Thank you for reporting us your findings. I tried your steps on a blank testing website but I’m still not able to replicate the issue. You can take a look at what I did here:
Could you please give us the login details to your website by sending us an email in our Support Center? This can help us in investigating this issue.
We tried the latest version of our plugin and latest version of the WordPress on a fresh install and set the language to French but we were not able to replicate the issue.
If you’re still facing the issue, please send us a ticket at our support center with your login information so we can check your website.

Please note that the free version of the plugin doesn’t fully support WPML. However, the Pro version is fully integrated with WPML and the tabs list are showing correctly.

Thank you for reaching out. Are you using the “Woo Product Tabs” module from the Divi builder and are you changing the tabs to be shown inside this module?
Please note that when you select this module in Divi builder, it shows the correct tabs inside the product but if you change the included tabs in this module, then it’s going to overwrite our plugin’s conditions.

In the edit product page and under the “Product data” section, you should see a tab called “Product tabs” and inside this section, there are your tabs.
Please let me know if you’re not seeing the section or the tabs inside the section.
