Yes, actually there was a child theme, in which there was this problem and then i uninstalled whole theme and reinstalled again. now it is showing content.
may be some problem in child theme.

yes it is activated, the problem is that there is no content on any page, just the page name inly, i have put the content through wp login- edit pages- and inserted text in all the pages, but not even a single page is showing anything including, about us , home, contact etc pages.
there was a guy working before me on the site and it may be possible that he messedup with the thene files. there were some other problems too which i fixed but cant find solution or reason for this problem.
this problem is only on this theme, other theme works fine but i really want to use this one.
