You should have a plugin called Akismet. Pretty much after you activate that you won’t have any more spam problems. 🙂

Well that sucks. Doesn’t really do me much good to give that guy his own site under my network if he can only write blogs and not do much customization. He might as well just get a WP.com account. Ok. Thanks for the info!

Sorry, didn’t know about the pastebin. Here is the link to the blog: http://www.tarotjunkie.com, and here is the link to the archive.php code on the pastebin: http://wordpress.pastebin.com/npK9jUFS. I’m also trying to figure out how to get thumbnails to show up in the archives, but I can post a separate issue if need be.

Disregard. I figured out that if I delete one user, it asks who you want to attribute the posts to.

Hey guys, thanks for the replies. I was actually frustrated when I wrote that post because I had searched for about an hour coming up with not a lot. I’m currently using BBpress, not integrated (because of the 2.6 issue), which isn’t a big deal because I’m the only one posting on my blog, so I really only need users to be able to log into BBPress. One thing I haven’t yet figured out is how to get it to work with my WP theme, you know, like show up in a wrapper or something. As it is right now, the forums and my blog are two separate locations. Can anybody point me in the right direction? Only thing I can find are articles on how to integrate it with the user tables.

What about if I don’t want adsense ads? I’m actually looking to make my own ads. Do I just paste the html code in, say, the text widget? I’m just not understanding this.

I don’t think that was a very good response. That post was over 2 months ago and here I am for the very same reason mochaquest is–a search in the plugins for forums brings up nothing. The only other logical solution is to post a question in the forum. The only thing that could top you would be if a search there came up with “check the forums.” Like bathroom ping pong.
