    I switched it to 8.2. It gave me an MySQL error, but I was able to fix that. I’m still having the same problem though: activating EventPrime causes a “critical error”.

    Hi there,

    I am going to type out what I did because I, admittedly, am not IT savvy, so I want to make sure I didn’t miss a step.

    I added the debug lines to the php file, uploaded & replaced on cPanel.

    I then activated the EventPrime plugin and went to edit a page—the Divi for the page did not load, and the website went down. I checked for the debug log in wp-content, but I did not find one. I tried this multiple times and searched for the debug log in multiple folders in the cPanel (and used the search tool).

    Peter,

    I downloaded EventPrime as the alternative event calendar, and I have the same issue. Is there a way to fix the conflict between Wordfence and at least one of these plugins?

    Hi Peter,

    Thank you for the advice! It seems it’s an issue between Wordfence and EventON. I went one-by-one pairing the plugins with wordfence, and this is the combo that created the issue.

    I will be on the hunt for an event calendar alternative!
