I made this procedure yesterday about 5 times. I always closed the browser, opened again and deleted after that the browser cache. If newly logged in to wordpress I deleted the cache of my wordpress environment using this following plugin: http://www.w3-edge.com/wordpress-plugins/w3-total-cache/ (as tizz says).. within wordpress: http://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/w3-total-cache/
After that I went to plugins reactivated the NG Plugin and all worked fine again.
Hope it will work now!
Are you sure that you uploaded the NG version to the right place? That means, have you overwritten the new data files by the old one?
In your file manager you can after actualizing see the time of the uploaded data files!

The only way to break out of this problem seems to be to download manually an older Version of NextGen Gallery (i.e. 1.9.13) and lower and upload (and overwrite) it via ftp.

I on my part find, that there is anyway not a very big advantage over new versions of NextGen Gallery..
The loading time is about 3 times faster now, not the best one but to some degree bearable..

and at the end audio player didn’t work nomore on the entry page (on page level it still works.. )..
hmm.. couldn’t figure out why all this problems suddenly appear? I updated yesterday to new wordpress version 3.5.1

that’s strange. the slowness might be explained by the file size. I have to slow down the size (its’s more than 4MB..)
I will handle the error in query.min.js, thanks a lot.
But my problem seems not to be solved..
