I have 5.2.9 running on my dedicated server and that doesn’t seem to be correct either.
What I’ve done is reinstall the previous version over the updated files excluding the content folder when I do the upload and set the ftp to overwrite all files for that event only so that it doesn’t automatically overwrite the next time I want to upload but allows me the option. I’ve just been waiting for the official release of a stable version which is version didn’t seem to be. I am going to test it on another of my subsites before I proceed with any of my main sites and recommend everyone do the same thing. Just create a sub domain and install with your database to make sure that it works properly.
I updated to 3.2 on http://www.thomdickey.com but I did remember to make a backup of the db before however when the screen refreshed the sidebar where all the controls are located is now missing. I am going to restore the old db and see if that fixes the problem but I am now concerned about doing a update on any of my other domains that really do require that they stay healthy. Any thoughts about this will be greatly appreciated.
