    Hi Javier,

Great news! I’ve just released an update that addresses exactly what you mentioned about the large file sizes and format options.

New Features in the Latest Update (1.2.0):
    1. Output Format Selection – You can now choose between WebP (default), PNG, and JPEG formats directly in the settings. WebP provides much better compression while maintaining quality, which should significantly reduce those large file sizes you experienced.
    2. Image Quality Control – Added a quality slider (1-100) that lets you balance between file size and image quality. Lower quality settings create smaller files and reduce costs, while higher settings give you better detail.
    3. AI Model Selection – You can now choose between GPT Image 1 (Standard) and GPT Image 1 Mini for faster, more cost-effective generation.
    4. Per-Post Quality Control – Each post/page now has its own quality slider in the metabox, so you can fine-tune individual images.

    For Your 3MB PNG Issue:

    • Set the output format to WebP in Settings → AI Featured Image
    • Adjust the quality slider to around 80-90 for a good balance
    • This should reduce your file sizes significantly while maintaining good quality

The plugin now gives you much more control over file sizes and formats, so you shouldn’t see those large 3MB files anymore unless you specifically want maximum quality. Thanks for the feedback – it helped shape these improvements! If you have any questions about the new features, feel free to ask.

    Best regards,

    Amr

Thanks for the update, Javier! Glad to hear it worked. I’ll look into adding an option to choose WebP (and possibly other formats) in the next release.

If you’re enjoying the plugin, I’d really appreciate it if you could leave a short review. it helps a lot!

Thanks again for your feedback and for taking the time to test things out.

    Hi Javier,

The “Access denied. Please check your API key permissions” error (HTTP 403) typically occurs due to one of these common issues:

    Most Common Causes:

    1. Invalid or Revoked API Key

    • Your API key may have been deleted or revoked from your OpenAI account
    • Double-check that you’re using the correct key from platform.openai.com/api-keys

    2. Billing Issues

    • Your OpenAI account may have insufficient credits or a failed payment method
    • Check your billing status in your OpenAI dashboard

    3. Account Restrictions

    • Your account might be suspended or have usage restrictions
    • Verify your account status in the OpenAI platform

    4. Incorrect Key Format

    • Make sure there are no extra spaces or characters in your API key
    • The key should start with sk- and be exactly as shown in your OpenAI dashboard

    5. IP/Location Restrictions

    • Your IP address or geographic location might be restricted by OpenAI
    • This can happen if you’re using a VPN, proxy, or if your region has access limitations

I wish I could help you further, please let me know if you have more questions,

    Kind Regards
