In reply to: [WooCommerce] Re-order Products on homepageupdate, I found another setting that allowed me to change the woo commerce products order to menu order when editing the home page..
need to do it in a couple places and I just missed that!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] Re-order Products on homepageThanks lorro.
Great questions. I wish I could answer them! Both the home page and the shop page seems to re-order the products randomly.
I just don’t understand why the ‘menu order’ that I can adjust doesn’t actually change the menu order.. I have read through the woo commerce short codes link you sent.. I am not sure I am ready to attempt that.
I need to do far more research before adding code!Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Re-order ProductsThanks threadi. I have posted there as you suggested!
Thanks for your patience Jeremy.
Postman logs indicate the emails were all sent – but they did not make it through to my bluehost account or my gmail account.Hmmmmm.. now it’s more confusing. Over the weekend I got one out of two of the contact form emails forwarded to the address I provided.
(It was bluehost – it used to work all the time, now it’s at 50%. I just switched the forwarding address to my gmail account – but that didn’t go through at all).I re-installed the form to change the info and the address.. but it still isn’t working.
… might be a lost cause..?!I just don’t know what else I can do 😐
Yes, that is correct.
Would the issue be my provider if they used to come through, and just two weeks ago after having this issue I installed postman (as you suggested) which did work once (I sent myself a test email that came through to my inbox) but now they seem stuck in the feedbacks tab again.
Arg!
Hi Jeremy,
Thanks. I looked at the email logs – it lists the status as sent and the delivery times – so that is showing the emails going through but none of them end up passed the feedback tab.
Is there something else I should be looking for that could tell you more helpful info?!
Hi again!
It’s back! The same issue – I haven’t changed any settings that should impact my emails.. but after getting some come through I have now just realized there are emails in the feedback tab that do not come to my email.
This is obviously problematic.Jeremy, do you have any ideas why this continues to happen after the issue was resolved?
Thanks!Hey guys, here to report great news.
I uninstalled the postman plugin I tried previously and reinstalled, went through the set up wizard and now having a working contact form that forwards to my email address.
(FYI, I did not use the postman extension plugin).Jeremy, thanks for your help and your patience.
drchelsea – I really hope it’s an easy fix for you as well!
I’ll mark this topic as resolved with positive vibes your way.Cheers. Andi
Thanks Jeremy,
I tried the postman plug in and didn’t have much luck (again, I’m not very in tune with web design, but making it up when I can) – but now I notice there is a plugin (postman extenstion) specifically listing Bluehost (my provider).
I will try that again and keep this thread updated.
I appreciate the help.It sounds like exactly the same problem drchelsea – sorry you are having these issues too, but it sounds like a glitch, instead of me doing something wrong!
Were you getting emails forwarded to you before? That’s the weirdest part to me – it used to work!
We too are late getting back to potential clients because the emails aren’t coming through – I will need to remove the form if I can’t find a fix right away.
Might have to be an old fashioned link to an email address..!?
I don’t use comments – maybe until this is fixed you should remove that ability so clients don’t think you’re ignoring them..? (see, I find ways to avoid the problem if I don’t know how to fix it!)Hey guys,
I believe my problem is similar, but SOME emails come through to my account, others do not.
I haven’t found a pattern of why I get some emails through the contact form, and others are not forwarded over.Do you have any suggestions?
Thank you!A hidden error message! 😉
Thanks Jeremy.
I have tried to do that before, and didn’t have any luck verifying my domain. Of course I just tried again, and get this message:Verification failed for http://www.coreintentions.com using the DNS TXT record method (36 days ago). We couldn’t find the verification token in your domain’s TXT records. You might need to wait a few minutes before Google sees your changes to the TXT records.
Once again, outsmarted by the lingo, I may be out of luck with the map in the widget (which is silly, as I can use the map on our contact page).
No errors at all in the widget – and when I see my webpage it has space where the map should be, but nothing is there. I did have a client tell me that they saw an ‘error’ in the space that I see the blank space.
I will leave it as is (with the show map and api code in, but blank on my screen) and maybe you can see what it displays? Also no details about errors from Google – not helpful!
