In reply to: [Polylang] How do subdomains work?I haven’t the same choice as you because hosting company does not giving me an option to modyfying virtual hosts adresses but the best way I found is to delete all subdomains and create new one.
I tried that, but I really don’t have any choice to which folder any of the created subdomains point to. All I get is a folder with the same name as the subdomain (so for example de.mysite.tld makes a folder named “de”)

In reply to: [Polylang] How do subdomains work?I don’t have the possibility to change the folder the subdomain points to. Is there any other way, or could you recommend another plugin that could help me in this case?

In reply to: Multilingual site with subdomainsSorry… Right now I have Polylang installed, but previously I tried nLingual, WPGlobus, and Multisite Language Switcher, and so far they all seemed to do the same thing.

In reply to: Multilingual site with subdomainsWith most of the plugins I’ve tried I’ve set them up, specified the exact URL to each language’s site, but when I go to any of those subdomains (for example I go to de.mysite.tld), it still displays a blank page. Do I have to install WordPress on each of those subdomains?

In reply to: Custom menus don't work anymoreI’ve tried to look at the logs on the server, and nothing conspicuous shown up there…

In reply to: Custom menus don't work anymoreYes I can, it’s still the same both with Twenty Thirteen and Fourteen. My custom menu’s name is “Main”, and it seems that if I choose “- Select -” from the drop-down menu under “Primary Navigation” it shows the first set of menu items, while if I choose “Main Menu” it shows the second set of items, but it’s never both sets at the same time…
I’d think this is a database issue. Here are two screenshots of what I mean, with each choice and it’s effects:

In reply to: Post Metadata EditorAlright, so I found out I can change what gets displayed to the right of every post in the ‘/zeelinear/includes/template-tags.php’, the only problem is that I don’t know how to make it work with the database, and how to input all the data in all the meta spans.

In reply to: Multi-language "optimisation"Thank you for the suggestions but I’d rather go with the second option. =)
Still not quite what I would be looking for, I was mostly hoping I could split the site versions in subdomains, makes it look a tad bit more professional. And I was hoping by this method I’d reduce the “footprint” of the site, although this isn’t required. I’ll wait to see if there are any other suggestions posted here.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: Post Metadata EditorI intend to use zeeLinear: http://ww.wp.xz.cn/themes/zeelinear
I haven’t installed WP yet as I need some info on another thread I opened.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: Post Metadata EditorI’ve seen that plugin while I was searching for a solution, but it isn’t what I’m looking for =)
So I drew over an screenshot to illustrate as an example what I’m trying to do:

Hope this clears it up.Also sorry for breaching the rules, I’ve read them entirely now.

In reply to: "To the top" link not working under Menu editorYes, that’s what I meant precisely. Thanks for your help.

In reply to: "To the top" link not working under Menu editorSeems none of the plugins affect it anymore, what could this mean?

In reply to: "To the top" link not working under Menu editorI’ll try to enable the plugins one by one and see where the issue starts.

In reply to: "To the top" link not working under Menu editorI disabled all the plugins and it still is very slow but it’s true that at least now I can send items to the top of the page. I’ll disable the plugins next time I edit the menu. Thanks.

In reply to: "To the top" link not working under Menu editorYou do realise this is an issue in the dashboard, not on the site itself, right?
