    debug was always off: define('WP_DEBUG', false); Anyway in the last weeks I have seen some strange interacting effects of plugins. There must be another reason for that. The addon is not so important for me. I can live with the solution, not to use the add-on.

    Ah, I just deactivated the Participants Database Add-On “Participants Database Chosen Dropdown Element”
    Now I have no problem anymore.

    Unfortunaltely not, by the way after a second test I waited somewhat longer and my site appeared under the above mentioned error message.
    When I access the login page I get more:

    Switching off the animation in the advanced section of the accordion solves the problem

    Ok problem solved. I did a new start from Chrome browser, but this was not enough. I had to clean the cache. Now it works again. Sorry for that.
