In reply to: [Twitter Widget Pro] Styling of dates in widgetMany, many thanks for your help. I’ll give that a try.
To get the date to appear in that manner I selected:
Show date/time of Tweet ( rather than 2 ____ ago ): Never
in the Twitter Wideget Pro options in the actual widget.

Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Text colour and background colour in twenty elevenHi Emil
Thanks for that. Very illuminating.
Presumably I should not edit dark.css dirctly but should create a child theme of dark.css to avoid my changes being overwritten when WordPress next upgrades?
Not sure I know how to do that.
Thanks
Andrew
Hi Christi
Thanks so much for trying to help me out.
I tried adding
define(‘WP_HOME’, ‘http://sparkingcopy.co.uk’);
define(‘WP_SITEURL’, ‘http://sparkingcopy.co.uk’);to wp-confip.php before to no avail. Just tried again but it made no difference so I’ve taken those back out again.
I have now deleted the functions.php entirely from the child theme folder so it is now looking at the out of the box generic default.
Yes, sparkingcopy.co.uk is an Addon domain in my hostmonster hosting account. The domain is registered at namesco and the name server change made there was successful – it was when it took effect and the URL showed as sparklingcopy.17sightlines.com that I tried to change the settings on WP and it all started to go wrong. Sorry if I haven’t made all this clear in my first, rather rambling post!
Thanks again for trying.
All the best
Andrew
