This has been fixed in version 2.6.7. Thanks to the developer for the fix in particular and for the plugin in general!
I had an old version, I completely replaced the old folder with a new one and everything works. This is a temporary solution, as I hope the developer will help. Disable plugin updates in the admin panel! Then unpack my archive and replace the “custom-field-suite” folder with a new one directly on the hosting. It is possible to do this through the admin panel Plugins, delete this plugin and download the zip archive – I have not tried this method. Therefore, it is better to follow my path, as it works. I installed the previous version of the plugin 2.6.5 on WordPress, the latest version to date is 6.5.2. This combination works.
