Hi Guys,
Another couple questions to add to my ongoing one.
I’ve just upgraded to the Premium plugin so we can manage CCPA compliance better.- With the premium plugin, the list of Cookies in each category (I used the automated Cookie Scanner) are viewable in the Privacy Overview pop-up when clicking Cookie Settings. I can’t find the option to hide the individual cookies. I want site users to just see the categories (Necessary, Analytics, and Advertising), and the option to enable/disable.
2. Will enabling the ‘Restrict CCPA to only California’ setting hide the shortcode [wt_cli_ccpa_optout] from displaying for non-california residents?
Hey Team,
That Shortcode element is not in the Cookie Bar HTML code, but I can add it manually. Is it expected that customers add the shortcode element manually? If so, what is the purpose of the ‘Show CCPA Notice’ settings that “Displays CCPA notice on the consent bar of your site and records prior consent from the user”?
Is my site/plugin behaving as intended, or is something going wrong?
Thanks!
AndrewHey Team,
I’m accessing via Incognito Browser to avoid any possible page caches, and my colleague in California who tested for me would have never visited our Dev environment site, so definitely no cached page for her.
I can’t provide access to our Dev environment as its password protected. I’ve enabled the same settings on my live site, can be accessed at:
