I temporarily fixed the issue of the black band and image name, by going to the slider images, clicking the image…it takes you to the Word Press image gallery, and simply remove the image name. Then it solves the problem, but probably isn’t good for your SEO by having an image with no title.
Good news. Checked later and slowly.. all “fixed” w/o input from user.

Ummm, of course the “Manaage WP” did not update, so I logged in individually and got same result.
Just checked the sites, some updated automatically. 4 or 5 did not.

My sincere apology. I posted this in the wrong category/item… I am really sorry. I had multiple tabs open and mistakenly posted in your thread. I have ZERO issues with your nice plugin. (I tried it also as a backup).

add_theme_support( ‘event-organiser’ );
I went in and removed it. Everything is fine.
I think the update should remind users to REMOVE the earlier added code in functions.php, as I forgot about it.

When I am in the WP Admin dashboard, I can go to the Evemts-Calendar View..
and the calendar appears, with all the events.So it seems that there is a problem with the shortcode I am using perhaps? I did not change it and it worked fine before I did tonights plugin update to 3.0.5. from the 3.0.4
Part of tonight’s update said: bugfix: Disabled plug-in’s front-end css if theme support is enabled.
So I have tried the true/false settings and no luck.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Is Anyone Leaving Contact Form 7 After Validation Update?I have decided to stay with Contact 7. It is a good program. I think the help “tutorials” are confusing. Would be nice to have cleaner explaination and perhaps an image to show configurations and settings.
That said, I read the suggestions in this forum on issues people are having and applied those to my form. Everything now works as it did before.
Don’t think we can blame the “tightening up” of email to fight spam on the plub in developer. I assume the upgrade was necessary as the playing field has changed.

</p>Made the “*” change. Still sends the email to the intended recipient AND the email for the website, ie. [email protected].
On the MAIL form, the TO shoud be only [your-recipient] without the “<[email protected]> ?

This is the SECOND (or more?) time that your team has released a plugin update, only to have it destroy websites, lose dates, and so on..and then you have a mad scramble to delete, and FTP the old, save this, delete that, and put BACK in the prior version! So do you BETA test these?
Your plugin and the other “once wonderful” photo gallery plugin are now on the “LIST” of NEVER UPGRADE THE PLUGIN until the nuclear fallout dissipates! Shame!On my “TEST” sites, the dates all rolled back to 12/31/1969..and you CAN’T change them! Lucky I learned my lesson from your last upgrade.

Using this restored my Dashboard WIDGET control. However the CONTENT was missing. Looked under “Inactive” and there they were! Just moved the HTML text into the widget (I use Black Studio MCE) in the widget box. All are ok. Had to do the same with the sidebar. Now I have HTML text backup for all my widgets, to match my pages. Did not bother with the chore of roll back or SQL PhP updates thru FTP. I guess stuff happens. This company was much faster than say…that photo gallery one!
