What is very strange is that I never installed the All In One SEO Pro version plugin. I only installed the free version. Not sure why this Pro version got referenced in the log.

I will try to follow up with my hosting provider. However, given that I cannot assure to them that this “URL in the path” is the cause of my issue and the fact that this only appeared in the log once but it is not a recurring problem that I could easily replicate for them to see, I am not sure that they will actually do something about it. Unfortunately, from previous contact I have had with them, they are not too eager to help solve problems with their service that are unusual. I will give it a try.

Just for the sake of troubleshooting further, I tried installing a Theme “Neve” but the also install failed, as with the plugins. What I do see is that in my Themes page it shows this “Neve” Theme as a “Broken Theme”, with the description: “Stylesheet is missing”

The only plugin I have currently installed is the All In One SEO Pack (free version) and it is Deactivated. With this plugin deactivated, I tried installing the Yoast SEO plugin and this is where I get the “Update Failed” error.

I have tried installing other “popular” plugins and always get the same error. Fro some reason, the All In One SEO Pack plugin was the only one that I was able to install.

In the error log I see: “PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 60 seconds exceeded” – would this be an indication of the source of the problem?
