It sounds like restoring from a backup would take care of the issue? By what you are describing, I would re-install / revert wordpress. Make sure you have a copy of your database so that you keep the posts you have been working on.
Also, a link to your site could help.
Same issue here.
I tried creating an A record (that didn’t work because it resoled to a shared hosting ip)
Now I am trying with the CNAME approach:
m.mydomain.com CNAME mydomain.comAbout my site: http://bit.ly/h5zgIc (the working site is the same without the m.)
