By “in the bottom of your post or page” I mean in the admin area.
You can use a redirect plugin like “Page Links To” http://ww.wp.xz.cn/extend/plugins/page-links-to/ to redirect any page to any page. So in the bottom of your post or page that Front Slider links to, you will have a field where you can add a URL – the URL of your event. The user will be immediately sent to your event instead of the post or page.

I’ve been dreaming about making a horizontal theme that scrolls sideways when the mouse scrolls. Mootools can do this.
Is it possible to have an infinite number of columns, so that the post can just split itself into columns (that are the height of the browser) that just continue to the right – horizontally.
I know it’s a long shot, but if anyone knows that would be great.
