    I updated the site but now it is even worse !
    from 4500 outside calls I now have 11200 for oct 13 !

    The TTFB is up to 1.5 second. It is terrible !

    Hi,

    I just updated the site. there was indeed no reason.

    So I will let it run for a day to see if the new version curbed the number of outgoing calls.

    I only have the ip addresses that are called by the site, not the real url. I get the information from the logs of the hosting company. I don’t know how to get the rest. (I am not very technical)

    Hi, thanks for your quick answer.

    The site loads quite quickly but the TTFB is very slow : 800 ms. I contacted hosting service OVH and they explain to me that it is beacause there are too many calls.
    It is true that when we where running wordpress 2.4 the site had a total load time of 850 ms. When we updated to wordpress 2.5 then number of outgoing request per day went from 1200 to 4900.

    According to the hosting service it is what cause the delay in the TTFB.
