Hey, i found the same.
But on that solution i can only protect a file (html..) or a folder.
But i have not a real folder.

i tried

<Files “parent-page/page”>
Require valid-user
</Files>

and i got a promt for this site – but i can seee the content behind the password request and only missing some background-images :/
