Sorry, i was incorrect – that IS my server IP.
Add me to the list…
IP isn’t mine, and isn’t my server, and my cache plugin isn’t caching the login page…

500 Error.
Went back and cleaned up my .htaccess file to original *without any W3 Cache rules in it)…
Deactivating & Reactiving the plugin causes a 500 error, even with a fresh new .htaccess file.
Bad move dude, this is gonna break a lot of installs, and most won’t know what to do…

In reply to: [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Quick Question On Syntax For Excluding PagesOk, thanks anyway! π
Turned out a lot easier then i thought, only had to specify secondary directories, a lot of pages sat under them. Would have been better doing this in the first place! Live & learn

In reply to: [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Quick Question On Syntax For Excluding PagesTo add: perhaps some misunderstanding here.
The pages i want to exclude arn’t actually called page-1, page-2, etc. They all have different names, and there’s around 40 or more on the site. I’m trying to find an easier way to exclude them all apart from listing them all individually. Do you think this is the only option?
Thanks again for your support.

In reply to: [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Quick Question On Syntax For Excluding PagesJust gave it a go, and it still caches the whole site…
I put /page in never cache following pages… but still caches pages, posts, everything.
Flushed the cache… still same.
Interestingly, i tried “/.+” in never cache following pages, which then just caches the homepage. However, when i put in the other directories to cache in Caching exception list, it still doesn’t cache them. Seems like that “/.+” rule overrides even the caching exception list…
It’s a puzzle huh!

In reply to: [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Quick Question On Syntax For Excluding PagesThanks for the reply. Unfortunately i can’t use this solution. Let me explain…
The Majority of pages on the root i want excluded, as these are dynamic geoip pages that change depending on the users location.
site.com/page-1
site.com/page-2
….
site.com/page-20and so on…
However within site.com/news/… i want all these pages cached. These are my static article pages which can be cached.
& the homepage cached also – site.com
See why i’m having trouble working it out π
Thanks Frederick

In reply to: [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Quick Question On Syntax For Excluding PagesYep, wordpress threw up 404 errors on each support post, i didn’t know they had triple posted until i came back. I marked the duplicate posts as resolved, however this issue is still not resolved. Please assist.
Thanks,
Anthony.
