Thank you for the information about the behavior of the backup restoring.
Unfortunately in the erorr log I did’t found errors.

WordPress allow you to create an intranet site saving time and money. I suggest you to use Woffice, it’s a premium theme for intranet (and not only that), it’s already used from 2000+ users.
Anyway I suggest you to red this article, it explain benefits of wordpress about intranet and list many themes 😉
