I deleted the files and folders found in the file manager from C Panel and now everything seems to be ok.

Thank you Marko for your answer.

I can’t actually access any settings because I uninstalled the plugin a long time ago, but clearly it is still affecting the visibility of the website because some files are still there.

I can’t even install it again because WP won’t let me. It evidently recognises that part of the plugin is still present in the code.

Any other solution?
