Unfortunately I am experiencing the same issues. My WordPress is latest version.
I do not have anything installed that may cause or create a pingback.
The pingback was created just after I installed the plugin, edited an article and activated and adjusted settings for the rich snippet. Anyway, I uninstalled the plugin already. It did not produce validated snippet code data to satisfy Google requirements.
I had the same issue but this was the smallest issue.
Actually, this plugin posted a Pingback to my other posts when I configured a snippet. This is shocking, guys! I am not sure what other damage this plugin caused to my website. Still investigating.
